ABOUT US:

The conception of the company started with a dream - The dream of an innovative and strategically focused business which integrates the society, provide jobs to the unemployed and elevates the society. These basic contents, amalgamated with precised planning and intelligence was taken forward as a growth strategy by Mr Rameshwar Poddar, in the year 2000 to form the pharmaceutical business. Ramel Pharma, an identity marked by brilliance, quality and trust is a true story of achievement. Mr Rameshwar Poddar along with Mr Sukanta Deb and Mr Ramendra Mohan Sarkar planned to diversify Ramel into various other industries. Today Ramel Industries Ltd. deals with various diversified projects proving no dream is too big to foster.

In the year 2008, Ramel group of Industries have taken over one hospital at Betai in the Northern part of the district of Nadia. Now the Hospital is running with 60 beds along with 15 bedded ICU and HDU. The hospital is located in a rural base with a target to provide medical services to the surrounding area of Nadia and Murshidabad district of West Bengal in an affordable cost. The group is now targeting to open paramedical courses along with nursing school within a short time. Ramel is the first private organization to invest in Rural Healthcare sector in eastern region.

General Medicine: The department comprises of specialist doctors with repute who are
Dedicated to provide services in the Clinic as well as to the patients admitted in the hospital.
General Surgery: The department is headed by our Medical Director, who happens to be a good Surgeon as well. He is well versed with General and Laparoscopic Surgery.
ENT Surgery: The Hospital has well equipped full-fledged ENT Department with well Equipped Operation Theatre where in different type of Operations are being performed.
Gynecology: This department is having a good number of consultants who are working for this department for whole week and a no of cases was performed satisfactorily.
Pediatric: The department is self dependent with specialist pediatricians. The hospital is having well equipped Neonatal care Unit to take care of new born babies.
Cardiology: This department has started with all non invasive cardiological Instruments backed up by renowned Cardiologists of this region who are dedicated to provide services to the patients at an affordable cost.
Dental Surgery: The hospital is having state of the art dental department with all automatic instruments and the department has earned a reputation for their contribution to the society. The department has a plan to start maxillofacial surgery within a short time.

The Hospital is having 24 hrs well equipped Cardiac Ambulance to transfer patients in Emergency.

The Hospital is having State of the art Laboratory and other Diagnostic Services, which is open 24 hours a day and 365 days in a year.

We organize camps for rural people to make them aware about different diseases and their prevention.

We are the first organization to make rural people to understand the concept “Prevention is better than Cure”.

We organize CME to upgrade the medical practitioners of our hospital as well as the local area.
